Welcome!
The purpose of this page is to
provide Pastors/Pastoral Leaders, Pastoral Council Facilitators
and Council members with ideas and resources to help them carry
out their ministry in the parish. Also, it will hopefully be a
place where Councils can share their successes and their
challenges with each other, as well as support and resource each
other.

Mission: Conscious of the needs and concerns of the
Church of Northwest Ohio and urged by the Gospel imperative to
"feed my lambs, feed my sheep," the Office of Pastoral
Planning will strive to assist pastors/pastoral leaders and
parish pastoral councils to minister effectively to their
parishioners by planning realistically to meet the spiritual,
formation, sacramental and outreach/service needs of their
people. The office will also endeavor to assist, resource and
collaborate with deans and deaneries to creatively and
realistically evaluate, update and implement the deanery
pastoral plans.
The
Guidelines for parish Pastoral Councils are presently out of
print and are in the process of being updated. Until the
updated Guidelines are completed and published, please
download and use the format below.
Changes
that are being made to the Guidelines primarily concern
formatting and ease of use. The content of the Guidelines will
remain fundamentally the same with some additional information
about Councils for twinned parishes included.
